UP CM Yogi meets Boney Kapoor, Rahul Mittra, Subhash Ghai, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty & other celebs in Mumbai

New Delhi Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj : After conducting roadshows abroad to invite foreign investors to the Global Investors Summit (GIS-2023), the UP government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, embarked on its first major domestic roadshow in Mumbai to bring in investments to Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath after meeting top industrialists in Mumbai, interacted with a select group of celebrities & film personalities on Thursday evening at the Taj Hotel in Colaba. Notable special guests included renowned filmmakers Boney Kapoor, Rahul Mittra, Subhash Ghai , Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, Rajkumar Santoshi, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anil Sharma, Shree Narayan Singh, apart from actors Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Ravi Kishan, Rajpal Yadav, Arjan Bajwa, Manoj Joshi & Rahul Dev and singers Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher and lyricist Manoj Muntadhar. The OTT and studios were well represented by Ajit Andhare from Viacom18, Tejkarran Singh Bajaj Head Originals Jio Studios, Aparna Purohit Head of India Originals Amazon Prime Video, Ashish Singh consultant Lyca Productions, Lada Guruden Singh Head Sony Pictures International, Nitin Tej Ahuja CEO Producers Guild, amongst others. The CM interacted with the special invites from the film industry at length and discussed the upcoming Film City in Greater Noida. A short film on Film Bandhu and the Film City was also shown on this occasion. Filmmaker & branding specialist Rahul Mittra played a key role in inviting the representatives of the film industry for this special interaction with the CM, especially leading OTT & studio honchos. Speaking at the occasion Rahul Mittra praised Yogi Adityanath and said, “three things have made the UP film policy one of the best in the world. Clear-cut incentivisation, administrative reforms & sensitisation of government officials at lower levels. I have been asking for OTT to be made part of the subsidy policy and am happy that the Chief Minister announced it today.”
