Salman Ali dazzled the crowds with his rocking performance at Surajkund International Crafts mela 2022.
Faridabad Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj : The Local Haryana lad ‘Salman Ali’ who has already won the hearts of music lovers across the country, came and mesmerised the audience with his solo performance at the Surajkund Mela. The crowd had started to gather much before the performance began and enthusiastically waited to watch their favourite singer perform live on stage.
It took no time for Salman Ali to set the stage for a thunderous performance and the audience responded equally as they sang along throughout the performance. He enthralled the audience with many famous tracks such as ‘ Mere Rashq e Qamar, Teri Deewani, Hume tumse pyaar Kitna, Dil Ka dariya, tere mast mast do nain’ and much more. The crowd left their seats and danced to the hilt. The audience turned on their mobile phone flash lights when Salman Ali sang patriotic songs and what a spectacle it was, where everyone stood there as one, as united Indians.
The food Court is also a centre spot of the mela. Once the shopping spree is done visitors long for the food Court. The Theme State i.e. Jammu and Kashmir has a special food stall where they are treating the foodies of the mela with traditional Kashmiri Dishes. Once can relish both non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian cuisines. Once can choose from Roghan josh, Chicken Curry, Tomato Chaman, Dum Aaloo, sheermaal, bakerkhani and what not. Each item here is being savoured and loved by food lovers.
Apart from this there is Veslay- a name which offers the most delicious cuisines and snacks made from Soya. Mr. Zainul Ali the Manager of Veslay, says that they offer the most delicious alternate to non-vegetarian food. From Chaap to Curry options there is something for everyone here.
The Jaleba is another head tuner. A humongous jalebi which is one of the most satisfying treat for those with a sweet tooth. Rajasthan too offers a treat that you cannot miss. From dal baati, to Choorma Ladoos there are rich flavours and wholesome options here at the Rajasthan stall. To end the trip to the food court make sure you stop at the ‘Rangeela Pan Point’ and savour the sweetest pan which will melt in your mouth and satiate your heart.
The ‘apna ghar’ of Haryana is another hot spot of this mela, almost every visitor is thronging the apna ghar and getting a glimpse of the rural roots of the state of Haryana. From getting selfies and photographs clicked to getting the traditional turban tied, people love the Apna Ghar of Haryana.
Apna ghar gives people a chance to relive the life in rural Haryana and get back in touch with their roots; there are artisans like a traditional weavers and ironsmiths at the apna ghar who are giving live demonstrations to the visitors of their hade made products.
