Filmmaker Rahul Mittra calls on Bibek Debroy

Award-winning filmmaker Rahul Mittra called on India’s top economist & Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister Dr Bibek Debroy at his residence in the capital city yesterday evening. Educated in Calcutta, Delhi and Cambridge, Padma Shri Dr Debroy has worked in the realm of academia, the government and research institutions in senior capacities. An astute scholar, Debroy has translated the unabridged version of the Mahabharata into English, in a series of 10 volumes, which he presented to Rahul Mittra.
