DAVIM organized a Campaign “Dakahal Do” for Women Safety.

Faridabad Hindustanabtak.com/Dinesh Bhardwaj : Women Empowerment cell in collaboration with Breakthrough Ngo has launched a project focused on advancing gender equality for development in Delhi NCR. They are running a “Dakhal Do” Campaign in Delhi NCR. For this campaign, Breakthrough conducted a survey on 15^th May 2023 between 10 to 12 in the DAVIM college campus. A total of 132 students of MBA, MCA, BCA, and BBA(II) participated in this survey. The objective of this program is to improve women and girls’ mobility, agency, and access to opportunities with the creation of safe public spaces and communities through active bystander intervention that reduces violence against women and girls.

The students wholeheartedly participated in this event. Some refreshment vouchers were also distributed to all the students who participated in this event.

Dr. Satish Ahuja apricated the efforts of Dr. Pooja Kaul convener of the Women Empowerment cell and her team members for successfully conducting the event and motivating them to organize such sessions in the future.
