Bridging gap between Education system and Industry aspirations

Faridabad Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj : The COVID-19 pandemic has become the accelerator of one of the greatest workplace transformations. Time is tough for the education sector .

DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad has initiated a web-talk series. It has been planned w.e.f 16th June 2020- 24th June 2020 covering different courses. It is covered by the social media on different platforms like Facebook and WebEx.

On 19th June the web-talk session wasorganized by BBA (Industry Integrated) department from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm to make public aware  about their course.

BBA (Industry Integrated) offered by DAV Institute is such a course  where a student can equip himself/herself with 2 years of work experience along with acquiring a regular degree programme.

Dr. Neelam Gulati (Dean Academics) gave the opening remarks and addressed the audience with her knowledgeable words.

Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal Director, a dynamic leader addressed the audience and enlightened them with his inspiring thoughts. He explained  thestudents that how they can bridge the gap between the conventional education system and the aspirations of the industry.

The Programme was moderated by Ms. Esha Khanna and insights of the department were given by Ms. Kanika Duggal through enthralling PowerPoint Presentation which highlighted the course’s key features, achievements, and future endeavors and other activities held at Institute. Also, Mr. Harish Verma explained about training and placement activity at DAVIMin detail.

The evidence of the session’s successis revealed by the flooded Chatbox . Few of the questions about the course were taken up live and were duly answered by the senior faculties  of the Institute namely Dr. Hema Gulati, Dr. Rashmi Bhargava, Mr. Harish Verma.

The Vice-Principal and Registrar Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora gave the closing remarks and asked the students to put their best foot forward and plan the future course of action. CA Alka Narula (HOD) proposed the Vote of thanks and assured that  rest of the queries of  audience  will be solved via Google forms which is available on e- desk. This Web- talk of DAV Institute  received an overwhelming response with more than 800 plus viewers within an hour.
