Awareness program organized on HIV/AIDS
Faridabad Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj : 28 January To increase awareness among youth on HIV/AIDS, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad in collaboration with Haryana State AIDS Control Society, Panchkula today organized a counselling session on prevention of HIV/AIDS. The program was organized to mark the observation of National Youth Day fortnight to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
During the session, Dr. Akhil Mahajan, Dermatologist from ESI Hospital and Mr. Pankaj Nagar, Counsellor from Civil Hospital, Ballabgarh interacted with students and made them aware on HIV/AIDS issues. Students took part in the interaction and cleared their misconception on HIV/AIDS. The session was presided over by Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg.
The event was conducted by the Health Centre of the University under the supervision of Medical Officer Dr. Ankur Gupta.
