J.C. Bose University organized talk on oral health
Faridabad Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj : 24 January In order to aware the students about the adverse effects of tobacco consumption, the Health Centre of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, today organized a health talk on Oral Health in association with Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad.
At the event, Dr. Shivam Vatsal, Laparoscopic Surgeon from Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad, discussed the ill-effects of consuming Tobacco products and how the continued use aggravates the problem and brings us closer to cancer. The Health Talk was an enlightening and enriching experience for the participating members. The talk was followed by free health consultation by Dr. Vatsal and his team.
Addressing the Program, Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg said that the use of tobacco not only has ill effects on a person but also has its effects on society too. Therefore, it is our collective responsibility to fight this menace. Dean Academics Dr. Vikram Singh was also present on this occasion.
Applauding the awareness campaign, Vice Chancellor Dinesh Kumar has urged the students to say no to tobacco, and asked them to encourage others to give up tobacco for creation of tobacco-free nation.
