New Delhi Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj : New Delhi The entire team of the short film “Raina – Hostel Ki Woh Raat” produced by Sure Shot launched the poster and trailer at Triveni Auditorium, Mandi House, New Delhi. Trailer launch of “Raina – Hostel Ki Woh Raat” was planned after the second wave of Covid. This marks the first major on-ground event with the cast of this short film and led by Producer -Director S.S. Dogra, as chief guest Krishan Kumar Soni (writer and government official). The Short movie will be released in the 6th Dehradun International Film Festival starting from 17th September. This was the first major film promotion to be held in New Delhi after the Covid-19 pandemic began. On this occasion, Sanjay Sharma- General Secretary of Dollywood Film Association and Indo Art Foundation, R. J. Rajesh Pandit – Famous Actor including Asst. Director of the film – Apoorva Srivastava, Writer-Meena Kaushal, DOP-Chaudhary Aaryan Singh, Ace Actor Rajesh Kumar, Debut artist Priya Chandel, Make-up Artist Nisha Khurana and Nikunj graced the event.
This short film “Raina – Hostel Ki Woh Raat” conveys a message for students to follow discipline during their hostels life. It has also been shown in the film that how dangerous is the result of a student who breaks the rules of discipline. In this film, in a boys hostel, students secretly called a girl in violation of the rules. The result is that the soul of a dead girl takes the student to death. A message from this film will go to the whole world that students should be more be disciplined in their academic life.
The founder of the 6th Dehradun International Film Festival, Rajesh Sharma and Festival Curator (convenor) Shantanu said that all the selected films by the jury in their festival will be screened on big platforms like OTT from September 17 onwards. The film industry audience is hopeful that this horror film will enthrall the audience with a good message. This short film is based on the hostel life and events.
