Significance of NEET Counselling for students recommended by Gaurav Tyagi
New Delhi Hindustan ab tak/Dinesh Bhardwaj :18 May Medical students are in messed up situations right now. One side their examination dates are being postponed and on the other side the first round for NEET PG Counselling 2020 has already been done. The guidelines passed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), are counselling and formalities of all students which will be held online including the allotment and registration. The second round of the NEET PG Counselling 2020 has been extended. Nowadays MD, MS Courses are conducted by MCC and DNB Courses of NEET PG are conducted by the National Board of examination. The first round counselling for DNB Course is ongoing. One must have to be very careful in the process of DNB Counselling, you have to be very significant about the good institutions with DNB Courses and which institute has good academics and hospitality. The best option for students for institutions will be corporate hospitals where they can learn ample new things and also have decent medical equipment. Students should have every inquiry about institutions before choice filling. There are a total of 2256 seats for DNB Course across India, out of which this year nearly 647 seats are in the sponsored category.
Selecting the right college is the toughest choice for a Medical student when they lack proper guidance. In such a scenario, PG and MBBS Counselling from a professional medical consultant can be very helpful in making an appropriate choice regarding college and courses. For MBBS/ BDS seats are under 15% all India quota and 85% State Quota, MCC will conduct NEET UG examination on 26th July 2020. The first phase of counselling might start on 2nd week of September. This year the National Testing Agency (NTA) is planning to conduct examination in 6000 centres keeping social distancing in mind. For getting an appropriate college, the general category students required 50 percentile whereas SC/ST quota required 40 percentile. The process of PG and UG counselling is all about choice filling, locking, allotment, document verification and admission. PG Counselling is important for medical aspirants and more beneficial when it’s done under the guidance of an expert of a consultant.
Gaurav Tyagi, Founder of Career Xpert said, “It’s been 12 years in the counselling profession and I know many students who are very confused in selecting the desirable colleges. The system of NEET PG Counselling is designed and created for such medical students but you also need to be very careful while making choices as this year it’s all going online due to lockdown. Firstly, you need to understand the whole counselling procedure and need to follow a strategy accordingly. Many students who wish to go abroad, the DNB course is the best choice for them. Students have always queried about DNB fee structure, admission, cut-offs, counselling and what rank is appropriate for getting colleges. There are many videos that I’ve created on such topics that can help students with any of their doubts. In the ongoing process of round one PG Counselling tries to make the right choice and you can always have a secluded round if you still have any confusion. Best wishes to all the future doctors from my side.”
